Garden Of Five Senses: Ae Babu Le Lo Na Nariyal

Tender coconut has a very unique taste and the water is indeed refreshing. It is one of the best drinks that comes from nature in pure, unadulterated form. Having it is enjoyable, but selling it on the streets of Mumbai? Can it be fun too? And where do you see charming young ladies dressed in half-saris offering tender coconuts to all and sundry?  Only in Hindi films! Mumtaz makes it all look like a cakewalk in this solo from "Apna Desh" (1972).

Singer: Lata Mangeshkar
Lyrics: Anand Bakshi
Music: R. D. Burman
